How to Reset Your Password

This article explains how to reset your Nestwise password if you’ve forgotten it, lost access to your account, or need to update it for security reasons.

  • Homeowners accessing their dashboard for the first time after closing


How to reset your Nestwise password

If you can’t log in or don’t remember your password, you can reset it directly from the Nestwise login page.
All you need is access to the email you used during your mortgage application.


1. Go to the Nestwise login page

Visit the Nestwise website and select Log In from the top menu.

This takes you to the secure sign-in screen.


2. Select “Forgot password?”

Under the login fields, click Forgot password?

You’ll be prompted to enter your email address.

Make sure you use:

  • The email you used to apply for your loan

  • The email associated with your Nestwise account

Using a different email will prevent the reset link from being sent.


3. Check your email for the reset link

You’ll receive an email with a secure password reset link.

If you don’t see it:

  • Check your spam or junk folder

  • Search for “Nestwise”

  • Make sure you entered the correct email address

Reset links may take a few minutes to arrive.


4. Create a new password

Click the password reset link and enter your new password.

Your new password should:

  • Be unique (not used on other sites)

  • Include numbers or symbols

  • Be something only you know

Once saved, your new password works immediately.


5. Log in with your new password

Return to the Nestwise login page and sign in using:

  • Your email address

  • Your newly created password

You should now have full access to your dashboard.


6. If you never receive the reset email

This is usually due to one of the following:

  • The email on file is different from the one you entered

  • Your inbox filtered the message

  • A typo in your email entry

  • A delay from your email provider

Try the reset again, and if it still doesn’t arrive, contact support so we can confirm which email is connected to your account.


7. If your loan has been transferred to a servicer

If your loan is now serviced by a partner:

  • Password resets for Nestwise may not restore full access

  • Some information may only be available through your servicer’s portal

When to contact support

Reach out if:

  • You can’t reset your password

  • You no longer have access to the email on file

  • You think you may have multiple accounts

  • The reset link isn’t working

  • Your dashboard won’t load after resetting your password
